Students' Union

As per Government rule and the University statute, the college has a students' union. The members of this union are elected annually from and by the students of this College. The students' union takes the responsibility of organizing Fresher's Welcome for newly admitted students, common room activities, and cultural programmes of this College etc. Every year the Annual Social of the College 'NABARUN'is also organized under the leadership of the students' union of this College pedias, valuable dictionaries of current editions, year book,bibliographies etc. It also subscribes various journals and periodicals as NATURE, SCIENCE etc. At present, the library has over 55,000 volumes. The total number of journals subscribed by the College is 42. The wide and spacious reading room gives the students the right kind of ambience for consulting/ reading/browsing through these books from the library against their library card which is issued to students soon after their admission. In addition to the central Library each department runs respective departmental seminar library providing easy access of books to the students.
